About the Manatees Open Water Diver Course
At Manatees, our courses are designed to help people qualify for a C Card and then want to enjoy diving. To achieve that, we spend time and resources to ensure that our courses are scheduled so the student can spend the greatest amount of time possible gaining experience in or near the water. (For example, the course includes AT LEAST 2 boat dives.) It would be simple to run students through the curriculum and give them a certificate of completion. But, depending on the progress made at each step, we take all the time needed when training to make sure the student completely understands and gains the necessary skills. We do require prospective students to make appointments, but we often do Open Water Diving Courses, so the wait should not be excessive.
